TRM Labs Appoints Mr. Boon Hui Khoo as Senior Advisor

SAN FRANCISCO, April 11, 2024 -- This month, TRM Labs—the leader in blockchain intelligence solutions—welcomed Mr. Boon Hui Khoo as Senior Advisor to the company’s leadership team. 

With a decorated career in public service spanning over four decades, Mr. Khoo brings a wealth of leadership experience in national security and law enforcement—including previous stations as Commissioner of Police in the Singapore Police Force and President of INTERPOL. 

In his role at TRM, Mr. Khoo will be advising TRM’s executive leadership on its work with government authorities to combat fraud and financial crime in digital assets, reflecting TRM’s commitment to supporting its public sector partners in Asia Pacific and around the world.

An accomplished leader in the global law enforcement community, Mr. Boon Hui Khoo served as Singapore’s Commissioner of Police from 1997 to 2010, and as President of INTERPOL from 2008 to 2012. Besides being accorded various national honors by Singapore for his leadership in policing, he has been recognized for promoting bilateral and international policing relations by several countries—including knighthoods from Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, and The Vatican; as well as awards from Indonesia, the Order of Australia, Ordre National du Merite, and Legion d’Honneur from France.

Mr. Khoo continues to be an active member of the global security community as an advisor and board member to various global companies and government committees. From 2017 to 2019, he served as an independent commissioner on the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace, a public-private internet governance forum where he helped to create the Commission’s norms to improve international security and guide responsible behavior in cyberspace.
