May 2025 Product Highlights: Leveling Up Blockchain Intelligence Workflows

This month’s updates improve how investigators screen wallets, trace transactions, and work with large or complex data, offering expanded coverage, more flexible tools, and deeper visibility into risk exposure.

TRM now supports 90+ blockchains with five new additions: Berachain, Gnosis, Linea, Mantle, and Worldchain

As the cryptocurrency ecosystem continues to grow and diversify, TRM remains committed to delivering comprehensive coverage across the blockchain landscape. In support of this mission, TRM now supports five additional blockchains — Berachain, Gnosis, Linea, Mantle, and Worldchain — bringing our coverage to 90+ blockchains.

These new additions extend coverage across TRM’s core products, including TRM Forensics, TRM Wallet Screening, and TRM Transaction Monitoring, all of which now support investigations and monitoring across these networks. Risk indicators are now also available across all categories for these blockchains, and chain data is refreshed on an hourly basis to provide timely, accurate insights.

As these ecosystems mature and adoption accelerates, TRM will continue to expand and enhance coverage — ensuring your investigations keep pace with the evolving digital asset landscape.

TRM sets the standard for indirect risk detection — now also across Solana, Polygon, and Optimism

TRM’s indirect risk detection now includes support for Solana, Polygon, and Optimism — three of the most dynamic and complex ecosystems in crypto. This expansion strengthens TRM’s position as the industry benchmark for uncovering indirect exposure — surfacing risk beyond the first degree of interaction, across chains.

As illicit actors continue to adopt sophisticated obfuscation techniques, teams need in-depth visibility across the network — not just at the surface level. TRM delivers where others can’t, with unmatched analytical depth:

  • Path-agnostic tracing: TRM identifies every valid route between wallets and entities, ensuring no path goes unexamined — even across multiple hops and chains
  • Cross-chain risk detection: Whether assets bridge between Ethereum and newer ecosystems like Solana, Polygon, or Optimism, TRM helps you trace the complete journey
  • Risk propagation at scale: TRM’s algorithms evaluate multiple paths simultaneously, applying nuanced, rules-based risk propagation across more than 40+ supported blockchains

With expanded support for Solana, Polygon, and Optimism, TRM gives clients deeper visibility into multi-hop exposure — enhancing risk scoring, strengthening anti-money laundering (AML) coverage, and surfacing relationships others miss. It’s the most comprehensive approach to indirect risk detection in blockchain intelligence.

Custom ledgers streamline complex investigations

We’re excited to introduce custom ledgers, a new node type in Graph Visualizer designed to make sense of subpoena returns and large volumes of transfer data.

Investigators often face a slow and error-prone process when manually reviewing subpoena returns. Custom ledgers streamline that workflow by providing a consolidated view of transfer activity. This helps surface key patterns — like significant fund movements or suspicious counterparties — faster, enabling quicker decisions around follow-up subpoenas or asset seizure.

Custom ledgers let investigators group related transfers — such as bulk deposits or withdrawals — into a single, interactive node. This simplifies complex visualizations and speeds up investigations involving large datasets.

With custom ledgers, you can:

  • View and filter transfers in a searchable table
  • View aggregated statistics at the ledger level
  • Analyze counterparties and fund flows from one centralized place
  • Attach CSV files or notes directly to the node for context

This helps simplify graph visualizations and streamline investigative workflows involving high-volume transfer datasets.

Custom entity enhancements

TRM’s custom entities feature helps investigators create unified views of digital asset activity — grouping addresses that belong to the same individual or entity, and surfacing relationships that might otherwise remain hidden. This functionality plays a critical role in enabling our users to:

  • Merge related addresses into single investigative entities
  • Associate known individuals or entities with specific wallets or activity
  • Apply contextual labels for improved traceability and clarity
  • View aggregate insights across counterparties, transfers, and risk exposure

With our latest release, users can now include TRM entities and custom addresses within a single custom entity. This enhancement builds on our recent update to custom entity limits: users can now add TRM-named entities and view aggregate insights across counterparties, transfers, and addresses, with support for up to 1 million addresses and 100 million transactions.

Universal Wallet Screening

With a single click, TRM users can now screen addresses across all 90+ supported chains through the Wallet Screening interface, displaying both aggregate results and chain-specific breakdowns. This screening can also be performed programmatically via the API. This enhancement streamlines the screening of multi-chain wallets, minimizes the risk of missed exposures, and aligns TRM’s interface with industry standards for seamless, comprehensive wallet screening.
