About Albert Forkner
Albert Forkner serves as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and Director for Two Ocean Trust, a Wyoming chartered trust company based in Jackson Hole providing trust and investment management services to ultra-high net worth individuals, private trust companies, and foundations. Albert has over 25 years of experience regulating and operating financial services companies.
As the former State Banking Commissioner, a position he held for 10 years, he was responsible for the supervision of all state-chartered banks, trust companies, and non-depository financial entities in Wyoming. Additionally, he played a key role in the establishment of the novel, digital asset focused Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI) bank charter.
Albert served as the Chairman of the Board for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) and Chairman of the Board of Managers of the State Regulatory Registry, owners and operators of the NMLS. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wyoming and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and the Cannon Financial Institute.
