Recruitment Fraud
What is recruitment fraud?
- Recruitment fraud is an elaborate scheme that deceives job seekers with counterfeit job opportunities.
- Recently, it has come to our attention that certain individuals are masquerading as members of TRM's recruitment and human resources team online. These imposters have been circulating false job offers to unsuspecting applicants.
- Typically, this fraudulent activity takes place through various online platforms, including deceptive websites and fraudulent emails that falsely claim to represent TRM Labs.
- At TRM, we want to emphasize that we never require candidates to make any form of financial commitment as a prerequisite for employment.
- Communications with TRM's talent team will only be sent from the following domains: trmlabs.com and/or careers.trmlabs.com.
How to identify recruitment fraud
To help you identify potential recruitment fraud, here are some key points to keep in mind:
- Requests for Personal or Financial Information: TRM will never request your personal information outside of the standard recruitment process. Additionally, we do not require candidates to provide any financial or banking information as part of our recruitment procedures. If you encounter any such requests, it is likely a fraudulent attempt.
- Unusual Payment Requests: TRM does not require candidates to fulfill any financial obligations as part of our recruitment procedures. If you encounter any such requests, it is likely a fraudulent attempt.
- Immediate or Unsolicited Job Offers without Interviews: Every job offer extended by TRM follows a formal interview process. If you receive a job offer without undergoing a proper interview process, it should raise suspicions.
